Dear Creators,

How many times a day can you catch yourself and be aware of the connections between your action, your thought, your feeling, and your motivation? All of these elements (and more – consider the body’s elaborate system of connections) are operating simultaneously at any given moment. How often do you notice the links?

Like this….

Action: drinking coffee, looking out the window, noting ideas for the message

Thought: there is something to say about being present to the moment – this is such a beautiful day, much to do, want to get this out and get outside, on with other errands

Feeling: quiet, reflective, happy anticipation

Motivation: connecting with you, communicating something worthwhile, being reliable & consistent

Ok – this took a while to gather and put into words; but, in reality this happens in a moment. As you go about doing your usual things just pay attention. Notice the connections. Learn about yourself. What are you thinking? What motivates you? What are you creating?

Dear Creators,

Somewhere along the way I came across a little message that has stayed with me:

Your mission in life is to be you.

That little message is such a good reminder that you are enough. There is nothing outside of you that you need to validate your worth. Your value comes from with-in and it is always there.

You are unique. No one else has what you have. You bring your own perspective, sensibility to the world. You have talents and gifts that are yours alone.

You can use your desires, and wishes as a guide for action. You can follow your intuition, your inner voice and do or not do accordingly.

The flow of your life is one of constant discovery and growth. There is always more to learn and value about you. As you deepen your self awareness and appreciation you expand your capacity to be thankful for others and make room for them to recognize and acknowledge you (not that you need it!).

Energy Drains?

Dear Abundance Creators,

Sometimes it helps to realize when we are getting in our own way. Sometimes we hold thoughts and judgments that lead to worry, sap our confidence and rob us of being present and open to inspiration. We experience an energy drain.

This is a time when noticing without resistance can be helpful. Be curious about what is going on. What thoughts are running around in there? Be gentle with yourself (you don’t need an inner critic). Just notice, observe while staying neutral.

A shift can come as you ask yourself: “Am I doing my best in this moment? What am I asking for here? What do I want to create? What do I want to experience?” Allow this to be your focus. Let your energy ebb and flow as you do your best moment to moment. Then let it go.
