Dear Creators,

Take a few moments and reflect on the moments of joy you experience in a day. Take a few breaths now … easy in and out…focus on your breath….let you thoughts go to feeling of joyfulness, well-being, contentment, peace that are woven into your daily life, that catch you by surprise. Stay with this for a bit; breathing and being aware of good feelings, experiences that are part of your life.

Allow yourself to appreciate what you have created; what is present due to your choices, your focus, and your awareness. There is much to be grateful for.

Ask yourself: “What is there to learn from this? What is important? What motivates me? What do I want more of/less of? What is in balance, in harmony?” Give yourself some silence, some openness to capture insights, inspirations, ideas that may surface.

Coming from gratitude,

Judy

Dear Creators,

Today’s message started with the question of staying grounded, as in: how do we stay grounded as we go about our day? A good question that my mind started working on. What I noticed is that it led me to a consideration of balance. As we go about a day what happens is the unexpected – the good and the bad. It’s a good thing – we get surprises, spice; we get to be curious about what’s coming next because it’s fluid. Our thoughts and actions, our choices make a difference in how things unfold as we go along.

Still, we want to have a feeling of balance as we encounter events, people, challenges, the unexpected. So think about those balance points that will help you. Notice what gives you a stance of being strongly ready for whatever comes your way.

Here are some points of balance I noticed with the unbalanced contrasts on either end….

Bored…………………..Engaged…………………..Overvwhelmed

Rigid…………………..Flexible……………………Scattered

Distant…………………Approachable…………….Door-mat

Play with your own points of balance. Maybe you notice where you are feeling out of balance and this exercise could point out where you want to come from, the stance you want to hold.

Flexible,

Judy

Dear Creators,

Somewhere along the way I came across a little message that has stayed with me:

Your mission in life is to be you.

That little message is such a good reminder that you are enough. There is nothing outside of you that you need to validate your worth. Your value comes from with-in and it is always there.

You are unique. No one else has what you have. You bring your own perspective, sensibility to the world. You have talents and gifts that are yours alone.

You can use your desires, and wishes as a guide for action. You can follow your intuition, your inner voice and do or not do accordingly.

The flow of your life is one of constant discovery and growth. There is always more to learn and value about you. As you deepen your self awareness and appreciation you expand your capacity to be thankful for others and make room for them to recognize and acknowledge you (not that you need it!).

Carry on,

Judy

Dear Creators,

Seeing the bright blue sky today is very welcome. We are in this very slow shift from winter to warmth. We appreciate every sign that we are on the way to new growth, to being outside, to the aliveness and freshness of spring. Nature provides us with this in-between place, this transition place. It is no longer winter – but it is not yet a warm spring day.

Being in this in-between place is not always comfortable. There is a tendency to long for the future...to not appreciate what is...to think of this as just a waiting place to be endured until the good part shows up. Sound familiar? There are many circumstances where we can think this way. It can become a pattern, a habit.

There is a certain away of being with this place of transition – of not yet being at the destination – or reaching that milestone – or achieving the goal. There is something about holding steady in anticipation - to stay confident that all is well and will unfold perfectly. There is something about holding the focus on what is going on right now – at the present moment. What is there to do? What action is called for? Where to put attention now? And, there are things to let go of...rigid thinking about how this “should be,” needless worry that is draining and unproductive.

The trees will bud, the lilacs will bloom and I will sit out in my yard with a book and cool drink all in good time. What is this the perfect time for?

Here and now,

Judy
