Good Morning!

Are you open to finding joy as you go about your day? Do you notice the conditions that exist when you have that sense of happiness, rightness?

Sometimes it can be surprising when we pay attention to the circumstances that are present when we experience feelings of joyfulness. These moments of joy can often catch us unexpectedly - seeing the bright full moon shining on a cold January morning, sharing a laugh at work, offering assistance, a kind word. They may arise out of noticing the beauty of nature, appreciating people around you, focusing your energy on a task, using your talents, seeing things come together.

Today the question asks you to be awake to those moments as they present themselves. It’s as though they are a gift you receive as you are doing your work. The work of being you, bringing what you bring, offering your talents, skills, experience, being present in that moment.

Where will you find joy today?

Good Morning,

Let’s not underestimate the value of baby steps. Sometimes what we want can seem so impossibly far away that we can feel overwhelmed, have doubts, lose focus, get discouraged. It’s comes from jumping ahead too far from where you are right now. Be easy with where you are right now. Enjoy the vision of where you are headed while taking practical, small, attainable, measurable steps in that direction…baby steps….one step at a time, one day at a time.

Do that; do something, even if it is for 10 minutes…. one phone call…. one meal eaten slowly, consciously…. one kind word to someone difficult…one brisk walk….one space de-cluttered….one page of the book.

Good Morning,

Today the question is about flexibility. What comes up when you consider being flexible? There may be some resistance. Too much flexibility may feel like not standing for anything, being at the mercy of others at the expense of your needs, wishes, ideas. On the other hand, too little flexibility can mean being rigid, unable to change, stuck.

See what you discover as you reflect on flexible thinking, actions, movement this week. It is important for our bodies to nurture flexibility; can this also be true in other aspects of our lives?
